Easter Special 2010
I wanted to try something a bit different this year. I want my clients to go away with not only fabulous images for Easter, but a special memory from their child. So I am offering a Easter session that is structured as follows:
- One child (sorry – no siblings in the photos because I want this to be special for each child)
- One outfit (due to the brevity of the session and the desire to keep consistent throughout the book, clothing changes are discouraged)
- One background (white)
- The child will be posed is 10 different poses (it may take many images to get 10 great ones but it will come down to 10 poses)
- Prior to the session you will ask your child (or if they are too young you can make up the answers yourself!) 10 questions (below are some samples)
We will then photograph your child based on his or her answers (as closely as possible) and then create a 20 side (10 page) 5×5 book that will combine their images and the answers to their questions. I have 2 types of book templates for this session, one that is religious in nature and the other that is not. I am still working on the page spreads, but here is a sampling of what the book will look like.

Here are some samples of the questions for both types of books (we will have more to choose from – this is just to give you an idea):
- What would Jesus put in his Easter basket?
- The Easter Bunny puts _______ in my Easter basket.
- Jesus rose from the ________ on Easter morning.
- The Easter Bunny likes to eat ____________.
- My family does _________ on Easter.
- Jesus ate __________ at his last supper.
- The Easter Bunny is _________ feet tall.
- The Easter Bunny has _____________ flavored jelly beans.
The session will last 30-60 minutes depending on your child and is by appointment only.
The cost for the all inclusive session is $100
Additional book copies, gifts, and prints will also be available.

Don’t have time to schedule this for Easter? We will also be offering this type of session for Mother’s day (May 9th), Father’s day (June 20th), 4th of July, Halloween (October 31st), and Christmas (December 25th)!

So cute! I think the Mothers Day/Fathers day ones would be great presents! It would be nice to have more than one kid in the pictures especially for Mothers/Fathers day gifts.

I understand where you are coming from, but I prefer to stay away from the sibling pictures because I really feel that the child should have their own special book about just them. I also find that when you try to take 10 poses of multiple children it is VERY time consuming and many times the children are “finished” before you want them to be.
I will need to think of some other format that could incorporate siblings.
